Jungle Park (formerly called Parque Las Águilas) is a zoo located in the south of Tenerife. It has the most famous falconry show in the Canary Islands, with eagles, falcons and other birds of prey.
The park presents a wide range of animals, attractions and various attractions. It occupies an area of 75,000 square meters and has more than 400 animals of 100 different species.
It has a jungle of wild vegetation unique in Europe, with a suspension bridge. A magnificent aviary, a space covered with nets where you can walk and enjoy the birds.
It has other botanical spaces such as:
- cactarium, a garden with a great variety of cactus plants and other desert plants.
- orchidarium, botanical orchid garden.
- setario, mushroom growing area.
- lake of water lilies from Asia and Africa.
They offer some adventure attractions. One of them is BOB, a slide of more than 800 meters that you can travel and descend with one of its entertaining vehicles. With Jungle Raid you can put yourself in the shoes of an explorer, and go through part of the jungle through a rope course, bridges, passageways… The Bat Cave is a volcanic grotto, one of the darkest places in the park in which you can meet species of bats native to the Canary Islands.
They perform some animal shows daily. Apart from the falconry show, they perform one with sea lions. You will also be able to see how they feed live (feeding time) the penguins, raccoons and coatis.
The park is open every day, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The park has paid parking. In the surroundings you can also find free parking areas.
It has restaurants, kiosks and bars where you can have lunch or a snack. Also bathrooms and trash cans along the route.

Throughout the park there are food vending machines so you can feed the animals yourself.

How to get to Jungle Park?
Jungle Park is located in the municipality of Arona, near the town of Chayofa. Relatively close to the southern highway and the TF-28 road that goes to Arona.
To go by car, you must take exit 72 of the southern highway and follow the TF-28 for approximately 1.6 kilometers. You will find a signposted detour towards Chayofa / Parque las Águilas. Taking that detour and following the signs, you will find the park after traveling approximately 1 kilometer from the TF-28 detour.
By bus, you must take any line that reaches Los Cristianos station, such as line 112 that leaves from Santa Cruz, or for example lines 471, 473, 477 that pass through Costa Adeje. Once in Los Cristianos, you must take any line that passes through Chayofa, such as line 342, and walk about 1 km. from the stop.
If you do not have a rental car or private vehicle, and you want to save time and avoid walking, the best option is to take a taxi from Los Cristianos or any tourist center in the south, such as Playa Las Américas, Costa Adeje…
