In the municipality of Adeje, near other important beaches in the south of Tenerife, we find La Pinta beach in the town of Puerto Colón.
It is an urban, touristy and very busy beach with golden sand. A family beach, with calm waters, with a number of services and leisure activities for both adults and children.
You can find bouncy castles in the water, and hire jet ski excursions, scuba diving or parascending, among other activities.
The beach has clear waters. It is 180 meters long and about 40 meters wide.
There are good equipment and services. Also, during part of the night there is a great atmosphere around, a lot of nightlife.
It has a promenade or where there are a large number of businesses (restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, minimarkets…), as well as hotels and tourist apartments.
Nearby is Puerto Colón, a marina with parking where you can park your vehicle, or hire activities.
It is a beach frequented mainly by tourists, but also by residents of the south of the island with their children.
What services does La Pinta Beach offer?
On the beach you will find litter bins, showers and footbaths, as well as a sunbed and umbrella rental service.
It has access for people with reduced mobility.
In the surroundings you will find bars, restaurants, minimarkets and souvenir shops.
There are some public parking areas in the area, although it tends to be very busy. To park, you have the option of using the paid parking lot at the marina, which is close to the beach.
You can book excursions on jet skis, parascending, scuba diving, and bouncy castles in the water.
How to get to La Pinta Beach?
By car you must take the southern highway (TF-1) and take exit 74 (San Eugenio) and continue for just over 1km following the signs to Puerto Colón.
The directions are easy, but the big problem in the area is finding parking.
By bus you must take any line that takes you to the Costa Adeje Station, such as line 111. Once at the Costa Adeje Station you can walk (approximately 1.3 km) or take an interurban line such as line 467 or 471, although they won’t save you much walking distance.
So one of the best public transport options is to go by taxi directly if you are near Costa Adeje, or go to the Costa Adeje Station by bus, and from there take a taxi in the direction of the beach or the Puerto Colón.
